Cookie Notice
This website sets no cookies at all. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no social pixels, no tag manager, no third-party fonts. There is nothing here that follows you to another site.
Why there is no Accept or Reject button
Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary: analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content. This site uses none of it, so there is no question to ask you. A dialog offering to accept cookies that do not exist would be theatre, and it would train you to click through the ones that do matter elsewhere.
So instead of a consent gate you get a notice, which is what Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive actually requires when only strictly necessary storage is used.

That is the complete list. The value is a single short string, it is never sent to our server, and it does not identify you.
What our server logs
Like every web server, ours records requests: the page asked for, the time, the browser's user agent and the IP address it came from. These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse, they are not used to profile anybody, and they are not shared. This is a legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
The contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, its contents and the technical details of the request are forwarded so we can reply. That is described in the privacy policy. The form itself sets no cookie.
The live sharing pages
A shared live link renders a map using tiles from OpenStreetMap, and so does the spectator page a shared event link opens. Loading a map tile means your browser makes a request to OpenStreetMap's servers, which they log under their own policy. No cookie is set by us on either page, and both are excluded from search engines.
The app
The iPhone and Apple Watch apps are not a web browser and use no cookies. What they collect is set out in the privacy policy.
If this ever changes
If we ever add analytics or anything else that is not strictly necessary, this page will change and a real consent banner will appear, blocking those scripts until you choose. We will not quietly start counting you.
